Last week it finally started to snow in the Netherlands. Quite a lot actually. Within about 30 minutes everything was covered in the cold white loveliness. To fully take in the beautiful snowy landscape, my family and I went for a walk in the woods on sunday, followed by some chocolate milk with whipped cream ♥

Now that I've moved out of my parents house, doing things like taking a walk in the woods means a lot more to me. I love living on my own and being an adult making my own decisions, but I do miss my family if I don't get to see them for a long time. Which is strange because when I lived at home and I went on long trips away without my family I never really missed them that badly.
But now it just feels different.
